Games

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about games.

As a child, I would spend hours playing with the family NES and l was fascinated by how they work. I knew I had to learn how to make games.

In 2009 I moved to the Seattle area with my wife so I could attend DigiPen Institute of Technology.

The degree I studied and earned was a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation. This program taught me so much about software development, creating game engines from scratch, computer networking, and much more.

I ended up graduating magna cum laude with around a 3.7 GPA.

Games I helped make

While at DigiPen I created games with other students.

Lucid Nightmare

A little girl, “Lillian”, caught in her own dream. She has to escape her nightmare with her loyal companion “Soctopus”.

Return of Fallen Lords

A frantic arcade shooter battle between Thanatos’ forces and The Fallen Lord’s hammer wielding skills.

While I was still attending DigiPen I took a contract job where I did game testing at Microsoft Game Studios for Xbox titles.

My job was to thoroughly test for bugs then report them to the developers. One of my responsibilities was Photosensitive epilepsy testing to help make games safer to play accessibility-wise.

Maybe you’ve heard of some of the games I’ve tested: Fable III, Kinectimals, Minecraft, Halo 4, Trials Evolution, Age of Empires Online, Fez, Kinect Sports, and a bunch more.
